Password Management

Passwords must be at least 14 characters in length and use two UPPER CASE, lower case, Numerals, and Special Characters.

Change your password

  1. Go to the Microsoft 365 change password page and follow the prompts.
  2. Wait at least 2 minutes after changing the password to allow server synchronisation to complete.
  3. Connect to the Azure VPN.
  4. Lock your computer by pressing Windows Key + L
  5. Wait at least 2 minutes.
  6. Unlock your computer by pressing Control + Alt + Delete
  7. Log into your computer using the new password.
  8. Restart your computer.

Forgot your password

  1. Go to the Microsoft online account recovery page and follow the prompts.
  2. Wait at least 2 minutes after changing the password to allow server synchronisation to complete.
  3. Connect to the Azure VPN.
  4. Lock your computer by pressing Windows Key + L
  5. Wait at least 2 minutes.
  6. Unlock your computer by pressing Control + Alt + Delete
  7. Log into your computer using the new password.
  8. Restart your computer.
Failure to complete all of the listed steps may result in you losing access to your computer.
